Position Details
The Senior Associate, Strategy will play a supportive role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives aligned to client objectives, collaborating with internal teams, and external partners to strategize and interpret key cultural, consumer and category signals required to design holistic media plans.
Responsibilities
- Be a champion for the brands you support and continually strive to find innovative solutions that build the brand
- Research Industry and consumer trends, competitive activity, best practices and opportunities across channels
- Compile demographic data and consumer profiles for analysis to identify audiences
- Support the team in developing recommendations and educational materials
- Help develop planning objectives and strategies that coincide with the client's marketing direction
- Review media performance to extract the extent to which the original objectives and strategies are met
- Maintaining budget control and ensure execution of media plans by authorizing approved media schedules and monitoring buys/schedules
- Learn to utilize Omni, in order to effectively leverage our people-based marketing platform to drive targeted audience activation, develop creative channel planning ideas, analyze digital content inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts
Required Skills
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capability to derive actionable insights from Data
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners
- Understanding of Media Planning and buying tools and platforms
- Understanding of Project Management Methodologies and process improvement techniques
- Understanding of financial operations, Budget Management, Strategic Planning, and media activation
- Understanding of narrative Writing, ability to craft compelling stories that engage the audience, convey complex ideas clearly in order to effectively detail a strategy, problem, solution or Initiative
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in media operations, preferably in an agency or media organization
- Strong knowledge of media planning, buying, and optimization across various channels
- Retail/eCommerce/entertainment experience
- Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience

Compensation
$60,000—$65,000 USD
Work Arrangement
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
