Job Description
NBCU Local is currently looking for a social media coordinator who will work with our social media manager to create, ideate, execute and help implement social media strategy across all editorial series, specials and branded content.
- Edit original reels + content for LXTV social accounts
- Assist with closed captioning for social reels and digital videos
- Help create stylized templates, visuals, and infographics to share on social
- Upload new episodes to digital platforms
- Set up social stories to promote new episodes and share relevant content
- Draft SEO-friendly titles + episodic copy for YouTube & web videos, along with social captions + script requests
- Assist with gathering assets and placing requests with talent, external teams, and stakeholders
- Support Social Media Lead with social media-related tasks
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of relevant social media production experience, with a production company, agency, or related environments.
- Experience editing on Premiere, Photoshop, and Canva Platforms
- Experience with TikTok edits, After Effects and post-production gfx work a big plus
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with clients interfacing and delivering branded content
- Team-oriented with demonstrated leadership abilities, including organization, accuracy, articulation, responsibility, flexibility, resourcefulness, and self-motivation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with both internal and outside production company executives
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

Salary range: $50,000-$55,000.
