Job Description
The Paid Social Supervisor oversees the development and execution of paid social campaigns across all social networks – working in collaboration with the Media Planning and Social Strategy teams. This candidate will demonstrate significant knowledge of Social Media including strategy, major, and emerging social platforms, and the tactics necessary for delivery of complex Social programs. You must have a passion for social media, and be able to translate that passion into the creation of inventive buying strategies that compliment a larger digital media strategy. This is currently a team of one – but opportunity exists to grow client billings and thereby expand the team.
Essential Functions
- Possesses understanding of Social advertising campaign management and optimization practices across Facebook Marketplace, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, etc.
- Direct and manage the daily workflow of all LC social campaigns, including proposal development, campaign activation & maintenance, and post-buy recaps.
- Interface with Media and Social Strategy teams to respond to client briefs, build strategic campaign plans, communicate service offerings, and identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion.
- Work closely with creative teams to request best content to create best media.
- Review client deliverables for quality and ensure that any recommendations are sound and viable.
- Assume accountability and ownership of LC social campaign execution for assigned client accounts, including a daily status control sheet.
- Partner with analytics team for social reporting and insights, and to build test & learn plans.
- Identity measurement opportunities for client.
- Fiscal accountability for proper investment of media dollars as outlined in agency IOs.
- Maintain accountability for QA procedures across upcoming and live campaigns.
- Participate in regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance.
- Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services.
- Develop and publish Social Media best practices across various social media platforms for client and internal agency groups.
- Works under direct supervision of media leadership and in partnership with entire media team.

Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Social Sciences.
- 3-5 years relevant digital marketing and social experience.
- This ideal candidate must be a confident, self-starter with a proven track record of success and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing and communication skills are a must.
- 3+ years of integrated experience managing multi-channel social campaigns.
- 2+ years with increasing levels of responsibility within an agency or media company.
- Working knowledge of social analytical tools.
- Proficiency in social FMPs and other social API technologies such as 4C, Sprinklr, Brand Networks, PowerEditor, Ads Manager (Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat), etc.
- Strong communication skills – will have frequent contact with internal agency teams as well as external clients.
- Established presentation and persuasion skills.
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor.
- Proficient multitasker – with ability to work simultaneously on a number of projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions especially Excel, PPT and Keynote.
