Role Overview:
Are you ready to make an impact by crafting strategic, results-driven media plans? We’re looking for a dynamic Digital Media Manager-Retail to support our customer, shopper, and e-commerce teams in developing and executing retail-specific go-to-market media plans that drive both commercial success and brand synergy.
A Day in the Life:
- Partner with customer, shopper, and e-commerce teams to build tailored retail media strategies that complement brand activities and deliver tangible business outcomes
- Lead the charge on media optimizations, improving effectiveness and efficiency across all retail media channels to maximize impact
- Collaborate with the Head of Media and Digital to refine media requirements, understand partnership propositions, and support initiatives that align with Haleon’s overarching goals
- Work alongside the Digital Media Manager – Brand, engaging with agencies to elevate retail digital marketing efforts for a well-rounded media approach
- Stay on the pulse of evolving customer needs, media propositions, and value, ensuring that Haleon’s retail media strategy remains relevant and forward-thinking
- Drive improved ROI across retail media, contributing to Haleon’s overall media performance and success
What Makes This Role Different?
- Be one of the experts on retail media within ANZ, creating media strategies that delivers for customers and Haleon
- With the support of the Head of Media and Digital, drive the whole of business media operation with clear R&Rs
- Develop and maintain relationships with media partners such as Google and Amazon to identify additional value propositions
- Develop learning agendas in conjunction with marketing excellence to drive capability across the sales, shopper, and brand teams
- Support negotiation process with data backed performance of media vehicles
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise:
- Excellent “Connections planning/Full funnel” planning skills
- Digital marketing capabilities - conversant with all forms of digital formats and measurements, web analytics skills and analysis of consumer online behaviour to deliver actionable insights
- Knowledge of retail media platforms would be advantageous but experience in traditional media platforms would suffice
- Media agency or retail media experience
- Financial and analytical capability to develop tools to set and track relevant KPIs
- Strong project planning and time management skills
- Develops initiatives and can work independently but collaboratively
- Ability to build strong internal and external networks
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry preferred
