Job Title
The Programmatic Associate is responsible for the set up, budget management, and regular performance evaluation of paid display and streaming campaigns run within the Google DV360 DSP (Demand-Side Platform) for Carnegie’s higher education clients.
Responsibilities
- Set up Display, Video (YouTube, Pre-Roll, OTT, Hulu), and Audio (Pandora, Spotify, Podcasts) campaigns in DV360 and other Programmatic platforms per latest best practices
- Pace campaigns on a weekly basis to ensure the contracted budget is spent
- Optimize and health check campaigns on a monthly basis for optimal performance
- Analyze campaign performance effectively based on monthly data trends seen in the platform and Looker Studio dashboards to create monthly insight notes that are client-facing
- Craft meaningful recommendations for client review based on campaign data trends that will have a positive impact on performance
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with others
- Show thought leadership through contributions in team meetings, including bringing forward ideas around process improvements, new best practices, and ways to test new ideas and services
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask in a deadline-driven atmosphere
- Clear written communication skills, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills through utilizing resources to work independently and troubleshoot arising issues before escalating to other team members
- Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis
- Must be able to work at a computer for prolonged periods
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree; Marketing/Advertising major or concentration is preferred
- Basic knowledge of the Digital Marketing landscape; Marketing/Advertising internship or work experience is preferred
- Experience using and analyzing data visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio and Google Analytics
- Experience with Asana or other project management tools and Google-based products (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) is a plus
- Currently certified in Google Ads Display, Google Ads Video, or Display & Video 360 is a plus
