Key Responsibilities
The main function of the PPC Strategist is to assume complete responsibility for the PPC activities of the Digital Marketing team.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Set-up, optimize and maintain Paid Search campaigns across multiple platforms across multiple country portfolios.
- Manage, run, optimize and report back on Paid Search advertising channels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to the internal and external stakeholders.
- These include but are not limited to: Google / Bing Search, Display & Video (acquisition and remarketing), App Install & App Engagement (Acquisition), Video (YouTube).
- Managing paid advertising budgets optimally to achieve business KPI’s.
- Assist business and country teams with paid advertising requirements, reporting, analysis and strategies.
- Launch and optimize various PPC campaigns and monitor performance and adjust to increase ROI.
- Responsible for keyword selection and audience targeting.
- Produce reports for management.
- Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors.
- Keep up to date with Digital industry and PPC trends and setting up tests to implement and determine the viability of these new changes on our internal paid advertising.
- Develop and drive mobile app acquisitions and retention.

Skills And Experience Required
- Marketing, Digital Marketing or related tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Google Ads (Search, Display & UAC) / Microsoft Ads/utilizing Paid Search ads optimization.
- Certifications: Google Ads – AdWords & Google Analytics (required) and YouTube (beneficial).
- Experience with GDN (Prospecting & Remarketing).
- Understanding of Google Tag Manager, conversion and campaign optimization.
- Familiarity with core platforms: Google Analytics, Apple Search Ads, Huawei Ads, YouTube.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Analytical thinking with strong excel skills.
- Drive to continually learn and grow in knowledge and skill of paid search / performance media.
- Flexibility to take on and handle other tasks or projects as assigned.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
