The Role

The Ad Operations team is core to ensuring efficient, secure & sustainable distribution of consumer advertising; in this role, you will design, optimize, and support best-in-class operational solutions that are both locally relevant and globally impactful.
We’re looking for a stunning, savvy Ad Operations Manager to develop and scale campaign execution. In this role, as part of the Ads Channels Operations organization you will partner closely with the Account Management, Marketplace, and Ads Product teams to ensure effective post-sales processes and workflows for managing last-mile delivery in the APAC markets.
Curiosity, ad tech knowledge, and a meticulous approach to scale and operational efficiencies are the keys to success. Our ideal candidate is an expert in the Ad ecosystem with a passion for innovative creative formats and experience in linear advertising and Dynamic Ad Insertion.
In this role, you will
- Monitor and ensure campaign execution excellence, SOX compliance, and SLA adherence across all channels (Live, Programmatic, Direct).
- Handle Tier 2 campaign escalations requiring product and engineering support.
- Capture business requirements and enhancement recommendations for efficient workflows and faster delivery.
- Ensure post-sale revenue maximization for partner-led transactions.
- Iterate and test new tooling features and ad formats with the Ads and Consumer Product teams to ensure successful Alpha launches.
- Manage outsourced vendors to scale operations, ensuring BCP and vendor diversity.
- Determine tooling vs. staffing needs for efficient Ad Operations execution and maximize engineering output.
- Manage training and educational programs for Ad Ops.
- Oversee third-party tools needs and implementation (JIRA, Zendesk, Airtable).
- Develop metrics and measure performance against business requirements, aligning improvement projects to bridge operational shortfalls and identify future improvement opportunities.
- Collect data to identify root-cause problems.
- Identify, optimize, and execute workflows that support quality output and cost-saving initiatives for Ad Operations.
The Ideal Candidate Has
- 8+ years of Ad Tech, and/or Ad Operations experience with applied project management methodologies and certifications.
- Experience working in Advertising Systems and Technology (CRM, OMS, Ad Servers, Task Management, Reporting, etc.).
- Experience in Linear-based advertising and dynamic ad insertion.
- Strengths building cross-functional relationships, developing insights, managing projects, and articulating success.
- Delivered highly effective solutions for ad operations management by incorporating tooling, UAT, and vendor partnerships.
- Mastered simplifying complexity, managing large sets of inputs, and prioritizing with precision.
- A data-driven approach to problem-solving and analysis; managing accountability for deliverables.
- Driven partnerships for tooling and workflow implementation, including issue resolution and end-to-end analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience supporting multiple regions and timezones.
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus (Korean, Japanese).
