WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Product Owner at Choreograph, you will play a critical role in delivering commercial products and services in the Media Planning space, enabling cross-functional teams to execute against strategic plans and roadmaps
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Media Planning, preferably within AdTech and experience of delivering platforms, products, and services across large global enterprises.
Using this experience, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Product Management to deliver across a portfolio of products that provide our agencies and their clients with competitive advantage through the application of data and technology.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the product backlog: define and prioritize product features
- Contribute to the business model and value proposition for a specified set of products, tools, and underlying data solutions. Help ensure there is a clear ‘market fit’ between the needs of our global agencies and clients and the products and services provided by your teams.
- As a market and customer facing role, you will be relentlessly focused on identifying market needs, problems, and opportunities and be responsible for stakeholders involvement. You will articulate those back in a clear, coherent, and structured manner to ensure Scrum Team is aware of the underlying business problems, how our products deliver value, and focused on realizing that value.
- Use data to inform and guide your product strategies and plans. Constantly seeking quantitative and qualitative feedback from stakeholders/users to increase the adoption and usage of your products.
- Work with the Senior Director, Product Management to execute against product roadmap, which focuses on realizing maximum value to the business as soon as possible, working in a lean and iterative way
- Be a strong partner with Engineering and Data Science leadership to resolve any issues and conflicts in a timely and objective manner.
- Contribute to the overall vision, product goal, roadmap, and backlog for the products in your portfolio.
- Ensure dependencies between Product teams are clear and managed, with the necessary input and requirements.
- Collaborate and prioritize. You’ll work with key stakeholders to understand their problems, elicit business requirements, and translate into user stories and epics for the development team to implement. You’ll continuously prioritize the backlog to ensure that the team are focusing on the most impactful areas.
- Support your development teams through product reviews, write testing criteria and specifications. Brief and train internal and external teams on new product releases.
- Gather user feedback, write functional specs, and user stories.
- Work directly with developers daily to allocate and prioritize the team’s workload to reach business goals and to incrementally deliver value.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- A strong understanding of how agencies and advertisers use data technology to support their business operations and strategies, 1st party data in particular
- Familiarity with marketing and media agency methodology, especially when it comes to digital advertising
- Demonstrable experience of being able to operate and lead in fast-paced and dynamic product-led environments
- Experience of working with in-house IT teams and/or managing external suppliers
- Previous experience as media planner/buyer & media manager or client lead or strategy team member
- Experience in working within international environment
- A strong work ethic: able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results, managing several projects simultaneously
- Fine-tuned communication, presentation and influencing skills; with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites
- Full command of English – C1 level
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Knowledge of Jira
- Experience in using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver technical products and data solutions
- 2-3 years’ experience in product management (as a product manager or product owner)
