The Digital Experience Designer will be responsible for building and nurturing client relationships with their strategic vision, passion, and leadership with top-notch creative that is representative of one of the top digital agencies in the country. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, and the confidence to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to produce beautiful websites that perform.
The Digital Experience Designer plays a key role within the Digital Experience team, responsible for supporting clients in the design of their websites across lead generation and eCommerce platforms. It combines skills across branding and UI/UX to create web experiences that showcase our client’s brand while driving users toward desired actions.
The anticipated hourly rate for this role will be $55 - $75/hr, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget.
This is a temporary, part-time role starting as a 6-month contract, with an average commitment of approximately 20 hours per month.

You Will Be:
- Representing the Digital Experience team’s UI/UX Design services on client engagements within your portfolio
- Collaborating with clients on UI/UX Design solutions, ensuring alignment with Brand, Technology, and Business Objectives
- Proposing A/B Testing Ideas sourced from Peer Benchmarks, Best Practices, Site Heuristics, Site Analytics, and more
- Conduct User Testing to inform Experience Design
- Designing wireframes and landing pages for clients’ websites built on a variety of platforms, including Shopify, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, WordPress, and more.
- Supporting Technical Account Managers on larger-scale projects to develop strong creative briefs to ensure the client's marketing objectives are met
You Must Have:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Designer with an emphasis on the web
- 1-2+ years facilitating user testing and/or A/B testing
- A creative portfolio that showcases strategic thinking with an understanding of brand positioning, multichannel marketing, and conceptual thinking
- A strong background in digital as it relates to responsive web design in a mobile-first world
- Knowledge of Figma
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while being able to delegate projects to others on their team
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing eCommerce/Lead Generation websites
- Proficiency with UI/UX strategy & design
- Experience with testing tools such as ABTasty, Dynamic Yield, Sitespect, Optimizely, and VWO
- Experience design for platforms such as Adobe Commerce, Magento, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, WordPress, and Contentful
