OverviewAs Director, Business Analytics, you’ll be instrumental in analyzing our client’s business data to build insights. This position requires both strategic and tactical thinking, with an ability to analyze large data sets and drive insights and recommendations that positively impact our client’s business. The Director will communicate complex ideas to both internal leaders and external senior level clients.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Strengthening client relationships by serving as a key thought leader, gathering insights across disparate data sources to help describe product performance with a client’s broader business goals and objectives
- Driving the use of data in decision-making throughout the organization, partnering with experts, vendors and organizational leaders
- Demonstrating expertise in responding to client business performance questions as well as being pro-active in identifying early indicators of competitive pressures and external factors influencing business outcomes
- Building a framework that can collect and visualize data sources that is flexible enough to answer unique business situations
- Establishing partnerships with emerging technology and data providers through an innovation initiative
- Managing efficient execution of projects, including implementation of statistically relevant best practices
- Uses analysis to identify the key touch points/factors that drive business decision making
- Identification, assessment, and managing implementation of data sources and tracking solutions
- Acts as primary day-to-day contact on data project development and execution; facilitates communication and defines roles and responsibilities amongst all parties including internal, client, and third-party
Qualifications- 8+ years of experience consulting clients on making strategic investment decisions to improve business results
- Advanced MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to turn around projects and meet deadlines, multi-task, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the analysis of large data sets to identify insightful relationships (data mining)
- Strong client management/consultative experience presenting and resolving issues
- Strong critical thinking and hands-on problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to mine data for relevant, actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate/translate complex concepts to a non-technical audience
- Quantitative skills and the ability to dig into the numbers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
- Experience analyzing data in different platforms (SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBI)

Compensation Range: $132,715 - $181,600 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
