What we're looking for:
We are searching for a talented and dedicated Multimedia Designer to join our creative hive. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, artistic talent, and innovative thinking. You will be instrumental in bringing ideas to life, contributing to various projects that include video production, digital design, animation, and more. To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:
1. Content Creation & Design:
· Design and create engaging multimedia content for a diverse range of mediums—web, social media, print, video, and more.
· Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas, keeping our creative output fresh and innovating.
2. Visual Storytelling:
· Translate client messaging into compelling visual narratives that align with brand standards and communication strategies.
· Create storyboards or visual representations of conceptual ideas for client approval.
3. Technical Proficiency & Innovation:
· Stay abreast of the latest in multimedia software and technologies, continually advancing your skill set and knowledge base.
· Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements, animation, and video content.
4. Project Collaboration & Support:
· Collaborate closely with various departments—such as marketing, PR, and web development—to produce effective promotional materials.
· Work within project scopes, scaling production dynamics to meet deadlines and expectations while maintaining high-quality standards.
5. Brand Adherence & Enhancement:
· Ensure all visual and multimedia content aligns with brand consistency, enhancing the company and client's visual narrative.
· Adapt to varying brand identities, maintaining visual cohesiveness across all content.
6. Feedback Implementation:
· Revise content and presentations, incorporating feedback from the creative director, clients, or team members.
· Demonstrate a positive attitude towards constructive criticism, using feedback as a tool for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
· 2+ years of experience in professional multimedia design.
· A strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro) or similar software.
· Knowledge of HTML/CSS; experience with WordPress or other CMS is a plus.
· Strong communication skills, allowing effective collaboration with team members and clients.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
· A keen eye for visual details and accuracy.
· Commitment to staying current with multimedia trends, techniques, and standards.
