We will look to connect all aspects of Disney’s business to unlock growth with each of their consumers from any line of business.
Publicis Imagine will be active across the globe, with the hub for EMEA based here at White City in London. We are Disney fanatics and have created a unique UK and EMEA hybrid team to deliver not only excellence in market, but also be the guiding light for the region when it comes to planning. OverviewPublicis Media is actively seeking a UK Strategy Associate Director to drive the strategy for the Disney+ UK business, as well as supporting planners with strategy creation across Disney Studios UK – one of Publicis Groupe’s largest and most exciting assignments. In this role, you will work alongside a team of planning experts, leading them towards the objective of executing the most distinctive, impactful, and efficient paid media campaigns for one of the globe's most iconic entertainment brands.
Focusing on Brand, Platform, and Original Content campaigns, you will help Disney+ unlock maximum subscriber growth amongst an ever-expanding streaming universe. Disney+ has a constant flow of premium content for all, and the world’s strongest back catalogue. It’s our job to ensure both subscribers and non-subscribers know about it, get excited about it, and feel the need to subscribe or renew their subscriptions immediately!
By taking a data-led approach, you will determine the correct course of action for campaign and annual planning. Identifying key audiences, how to reach, engage, and motivate them to action. You will also use your understanding of the wider entertainment category and media to identify and exploit opportunities to disrupt the landscape and create impact for the brand.
Responsibilities- Fulfil the role of the main strategic point of contact for the client, offering well-informed, insightful, and authoritative consultancy.
- Develop and execute UK media strategies with a data-driven approach, encompassing Paid Owned and Earned touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with various teams including Investment, Audience & Insights, Offline, and Digital teams within the UK and across EMEA.
- Actively contribute to building the team and culture at Publicis Imagine, engaging in cross-functional collaboration and brainstorming sessions.
- Manage and update media playbooks and planning documents to align with the client's strategic direction.
Develop media strategies for launching UK film releases across Disney's theatrical portfolio, including various studios and Disney+ theatrical series releases.
Qualifications- Experience in media agency local market planning
- Confident presenter to internal staff and clients
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinker challenging assumptions for client delivery
