OverviewWe are looking for a Cultural Insights Intern to join our strategy and insights team.
In today’s fast-paced world, social media, brands, and culture are deeply connected. Brands shape culture, and culture shapes brands. That’s why, for our clients, understanding culture and cultural developments is incredibly important.
This role therefore is more than research, it’s uncovering exciting insights that form the basis of strategies and storytelling for some of our most important work.
We know culture can be messy and fragmented, but we’ll teach you how to approach it strategically and we equip you with the tools and knowledge to navigate this exciting journey with us.
Our Insights Team
Our Insights Team is a diverse group of eight, with backgrounds ranging from advertising to research. We thrive in an open and informal culture, believing it’s key to personal and professional growth. And yes, we love asking questions—a lot!
ResponsibilitiesRole Overview:
- Conducting social listening, scrolling through feeds, TikTok FYP, tapping into Discord servers and reddit threads to understand and immerse yourself in new platforms, internet subcultures and conversations that support our wider understanding of the digital landscape
- Working alongside our strategy teams to curate and create insightful plans and creative concepts.
- Empower the wider team to deliver insight-fuelled work, help update them on cultural shifts. Maintaining internal reports and briefing sessions and be a key part of our ‘Social Heartbeat’ team.
- Help to develop a trends framework and insight library that will become a resource for clients and internal teams
QualificationsWho are we looking for?
Are you fascinated by the intersection of brands and culture? Do you want to explore the ever-evolving world of cultural dynamics? Are you open-minded towards various cultures and subcultures, and share our passion for understanding them? If so, you might be our ideal candidate!
We are looking for a student in areas like Marketing and Communications or other relevant studies where (pop)culture plays a vital role.

- You value logical thinking and like to show your analytical skills. You are detail-oriented, organised, persistent and precise
- Comfortable and excited by working in a fast moving, agile and ambitious workplace. You are a quick learner and easily able to adapt to processes.
- You have a strong curiosity of wider marketing trends. You want a deeper understanding and point of view on youth and culture and how our clients can connect to trends and industry dynamics.
- You are curious, eager to learn, and a pleasure to work with. Our ideal candidate is self-assured, enjoys challenging the status quo and colleagues, yet remains humble and open-minded.
