The Role
As Hårklinikken's Performance Marketing Manager, you will drive and enhance our digital marketing strategy, ensuring optimized performance across platforms like Meta, Google, Pinterest, YouTube, Rakuten as well as organic methods like SEO. This role requires a hands-on individual and who can both lead and execute initiatives to grow our brand's reach, engagement, and conversions.
You will be responsible for developing a data-driven, scalable approach to each of our channels, regularly analysing campaign performance, and identifying areas for optimization in creative, copy, targeting, and budget allocation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, report on key metrics, and continuously refine our approach to maximize ROI.
Primary Relationships
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, the Performance Marketing Manager has primary working relationships with Head of Marketing & Brand, Retention & CRM Manager, Digital Designer and eCommerce Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine Hårklinikken's global performance marketing and paid media strategy including Social, PPC (Search, Shopping and PMAX), Affiliates and SEO channels end-to-end, tailoring approaches for each market to maximize engagement and conversions.
- Implement a continuous test-and-learn methodology, optimizing campaigns to meet KPIs and making data-driven adjustments to creative, targeting, performance KPIs and budget.
- Manage the relationship with our paid media, affiliates and any performance marketing agency, ensuring top-tier performance, accountability, and value from each campaign.
- Provide regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) detailed reports on KPIs by market, spend analysis, test outcomes, and other critical metrics to keep the team and stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Daily channel analysis and continuous optimisation for KPI success.
- Lead and maintain optimisation roadmaps for all Performance Marketing tooling and software, e.g. Product feed management.
- Ongoing insight into the search and wider online landscape to understand audience trends and motivations. Regularly bring insights and updates to the wider business to support growth in all channels.
- Strategic accountability: planning and building customer acquisition and retention campaigns in-line with the annual forecast.
- Brief, review and refine all ad creatives, ensuring that each piece meets best practices for specific platforms, maximizing impact across Meta, Pinterest, YouTube, and others.
Core Competencies
- 4+ years in digital/performance marketing with hands-on specialist channel knowledge for the channels mentioned.
- Experience in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Use of Botify, AHREFS or similar SEO tools is beneficial.
- Experience in feed management and optimisation is crucial.
- Data-orientated approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven success in delivering results against targets, track record of consistent positive ROI performance.
- Understanding of different attribution models.
- Experience of working with enterprise level clients and large budgets.
- A natural storyteller, with an understanding of the full brand, communications & marketing infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly adept at forging strong working relationships across the business and effectively influencing those around you to work towards a common goal.
