Position: Assistant Manager, Performance Marketing
Cartier │ New York
Main Purpose
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Communication Activations, the Assistant Manager of Performance Marketing will actively participate in leading the development and implementation of all performance media activations and campaign management (paid search, paid social, programmatic display, organic social and other performance marketing initiatives). This person will also lead all day-to-day budget and forecast needs, as well as all marketing analytics and reporting.
Main Accountabilities
Performance Marketing & 360 Campaign Management
- Deep understanding of performance marketing channels including paid search, paid social, remarketing, display, programmatic, organic search and new emerging channels.
- Day-to-day lead for all performance marketing channels and campaigns, especially paid search and always-on programs, with the goal of driving revenue and client engagement.
- Assist with development of campaigns media plans and annual strategy plans for always-on tactics.
- Evaluate media plans against overall strategy to determine efficiency/effectiveness.
- Analyze performance of campaigns to make continued optimizations to strengthen ROI and engagement.
- Manage and execute channel and project road maps to ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
- Understanding of the luxury and retail media landscape and consumer behavior.
Marketing Analytics and Data Management
- Help advance understanding of the measurement framework by supporting the greater media team with all analytics needs.
- Create and analyze digital marketing campaign performance.
- Create reports that summarize performance and overall learnings, turning insights into actionable next steps.
- Data collection & validating/cleansing for strategic projects.
- Experience with GA4, Looker, SA360, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager and Salesforce recommended.
Budget Management & Forecasting
- Support with forecasting online performance for media channels.
- Assist in managing the full Media & Digital Budget.
- Manage and process invoices and budgeting.
- Maintain internal Media Planning Tool (BumbleBee).
Industry Trends & Innovation
- Conduct research of media, retail, competitive trends to share with the greater business in monthly newsletters and presentations.
Team Dynamics
- Develop working relationships with media agencies.
- Partner with local US teams and HQ counterparts on key projects.
- Strengthen relationships with key media partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; marketing, consumer behavior or analytics background preferred.
- 3-5 years full-time work experience in performance marketing, analytics.
- Experience in luxury or retail industry is a plus.
- Digital knowledge including search, paid social, programmatic display.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong computer skills with MS Office proficiency.
- Expert in MS Excel with data analysis experience.
- Experience with web measurement technologies preferred.
- Ability to learn and apply new software quickly.

Salary
Expected salary: $75,000 to $85,000. Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
