Disruptive Digital is a boutique agency based in New York that specializes in serving online businesses in hyper growth mode, as well as more traditional businesses which have the desire to build out their direct to consumer/online sales offering. Founded by a former long-time Facebook employee, we've taken the many learnings gained from partnering with the leading eCommerce businesses in the US and applied these to their agency clients to accelerate success with Facebook, Instagram and other paid social channels.
We're looking for a creative and analytical full-time Paid Social Media Buyer with a passion for performance marketing and social media advertising to join our team remotely. You will maintain day-to-day client communications with disruptor brands, create & manage ads using the Meta ad buying platform, and collaborate with our team to formulate strategic action plans for each client.
The ideal Paid Social Media Buyer candidate is both creative and performance-driven, a team player who is also a proactive and independent thinker. Applicants should have an understanding of paid digital advertising or ecommerce marketing, and an aptitude for analyzing data and identifying performance trends.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage paid social media ad budgets, making adjustments to ensure KPIs are hitting goals
- Create and traffic ads daily using Facebook and Instagram ad buying interface, with a strong attention to detail & ensuring client ads are without error
- Perform weekly/bi-weekly check-in calls with clients, reporting on specific initiatives or overall account performance
- Build recurring and ad hoc client reports and internal account analyses that are both performance & creative development-driven
- Brainstorm and script social media ads, drawing on client needs and input where possible
- Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of client Facebook ad campaigns from: conception to creative project management to execution to analysis
- Translate technical concepts into actionable, tactical and strategic action plans
- Familiarize yourself with client products & come up with promotional strategies on social media
- Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests
- Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions
Candidate Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent media buying/advertising analyst experience
- Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Blueprint certified preferred a plus)
- 1 - 3 years experience in paid digital advertising, performance marketing, media buying, lead generation, or other quantitative/data-driven fields
- Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities
- Strong, professional verbal and written communication
- Strong analytical track record
- Proactive, organized, and able to work well individually and in a team environment (self-starter who thrives in a startup environment)
- Strong knowledge of performance marketing and KPIs vital to e-commerce such as ROAS, CAC/CPA, Conversion Rate, AOV, etc. (preferred)
- Understanding of the online advertising industry and social media (preferred)
- Experience working with Excel/Google sheets for reporting metrics, including constructing pivot tables (preferred)
- Experience working on Marketing Decks (preferred)
- Capable of navigating Google Analytics, Shopify, or other platforms. (preferred)
- Experience managing monthly media budgets of $10,000 or higher. (preferred)
