YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:
Data Analysis, Automation & Reporting at GroupM is about supporting the development and deployment of GroupM products and services across multiple cloud environments, platforms and processes. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams of client leads, product leads, consultants and data analyst to translate complex product requirements into technical specs and design requirements. You will build reports, power apps, optimize performance and build automated solutions whilst maintaining a high degree of knowledge in Microsoft Power platform, cloud services and ETL best practices.
You will be responsible for bringing together data, creativity and multiple methods to help automate processes and derive insights for our stakeholders. All our people, processes and technology are united through our focus on understanding, accelerating and optimizing the current offerings, making them more satisfying for stakeholders and more effective for our clients.

WHAT YOU SHOULD SPEND YOUR TIME DOING:
In order for the business to work, you will be required to spend time in certain areas of the business and make sure your stakeholders are aligned. In addition, you will be the subject matter on all things Microsoft Power Platform and reporting in the Automation team. Your key responsibilities are as follows:
Product
- As a Senior data analyst your duties will include design and implement new PowerApps and Power Automate workflow solutions, working in conjunction with Technical Leads.
- Design, build and deploy business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions that increase efficiencies in reporting requirements
- Analyse and query large volumes of data and implement processes
- Undertake application troubleshooting and provide support and issue resolution related to business applications and components built upon the Power Platform.
- Collaborate with Power Platform Administrators and Developers across the department to identify, document and implement re-usable Power Platform components.
- Undertake development of multiple applications/automations leveraging Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes.
- Gathering business requirements from stakeholders and propose technical solutions that align with business needs.
- Managing stakeholder expectations throughout the delivery process, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and optimise where necessary
- Performing regular data health checks to ensure data quality and completeness is adhered
- Guide the interpretation and communication of results of data analysis, and make recommendations of data literacy
- Develop new processes and applications to automate repetitive tasks
Partnership
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, inter departments, third party vendors as appropriate for delivery of solutions within area of responsibility
- Interface and knowledge transfer between HR, Finance, Commercial, Ops, Automation departments
- When required, collaborate with any regional and APAC GroupM & WPP counterparts for economies of scale, knowledge share and any relevant technical projects
People
- Demonstrate good communication skills across all facets of your work, taking the lead with HR & Automation teams where necessary
- Respond well to guidance and feedback from internal & external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with Automation team members, agency stakeholders and wider GroupM counterparts
Performance
- Ensure discretion and prioritisation is given to either supporting 100% commercial initiatives and/or time saving initiatives
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in ensuring complex technical solutions are demystified and clearly understood
- Effectively and succinctly communicate risks in a timely manner, where applicable with suggested mitigation plan
- Deliver technical products, reporting and automation solutions on time, and within specification agreed upon by stakeholders involved
- Ensure a sound, reliable, ethical and robust governance framework is functioning effectively in line with WPP/GroupM policies and compliance requirements
