Role Overview
The Director of Resourcing is a pivotal role responsible for managing and optimizing local and global creative resources across a large Global account. You will collaborate with capability-specific resourcing leads to identify the right cross-capability talent for each brief, ensuring culturally relevant, authentic matches for audiences in priority markets. By partnering closely with account, project management, and operations teams, you will shape the casting, structure, and phasing of work to deliver the strongest creative outcomes.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are a natural problem solver, capable of balancing competing priorities, untangling resource challenges, and adapting plans to meet shifting project needs. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential, as is a deep understanding of creative talent and the expertise required to deliver transformative 360 campaigns for one of the world’s most iconic brands.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Resource Management
- Oversee creative resource allocation across local and global teams, ensuring optimal utilization across locations and operating companies.
- Partner with project managers to balance workloads, resolve resource clashes, and keep timelines on track.
- Match talent to briefs, ensuring alignment of skills, personalities, and cultural understanding with project needs.
- Serve as the go-to expert for talent availability and capacity across the Ogilvy network.
- Build and maintain relationships within the global network to access the right talent quickly and effectively.
Strategic Casting and Collaboration
- Identify and connect regions with the right capabilities for briefs and campaigns.
- Strategically cast talent for projects, pairing individuals or teams that complement each other and the goals of the project.
- Partner with operations to ensure the creative output aligns with the project brief and statement of work.
Project Coordination and Communication
- Regularly communicate updates and adapt plans as project needs evolve, keeping all stakeholders aligned.
- Maintain and update key project documents, including schedules, workback plans, RACIs, and hotsheets.
- Create and refine presentations using Google Docs, Keynote, or PowerPoint for key meetings.
Operational Excellence
- Work with PMs and Creative Ops to manage file transfers, archive materials, and organize project summaries to maintain efficient workflows.
- Ensure proper data management through platforms like Wrike/Monday.com, Smartsheet and Miro, supporting seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in New York and available to meet in person with talent and teams.
- Experience: Proven ability to manage global creative resources, with a strong understanding of creative operations and campaign execution.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to act quickly to solve problems.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Keynote, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Miro.
- Personality: Collaborative, resourceful, persuasive, and adept at uniting teams to achieve common goals.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$100,000—$230,000 USD
