About Rippling
Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.
We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.
About The Role
Scaling to $1B ARR and beyond will require us to rapidly grow our Spend and IT businesses, which are earlier-stage than our payroll and HR businesses. In this role, you’ll run demand generation campaigns to build relationships with the Spend & IT buyers, educate them about Rippling Spend & IT, and drive pipeline.
You’ll stand up, optimize and scale demand generation programs across channels:
- You’ll grow our webinar program to move buyers along the funnel (from thought leadership topics to product demos).
- Develop cost-efficient content promotion strategies across email, affiliates, and paid.
- Build a nurture and retargeting engine on paid and email.
- You’ll experiment with new channels and levers to win over the finance & IT buyers.
- As the businesses grow, you’ll flex into new demand generation projects to continually drive growth.
What You Will Do
Execute demand generation campaigns that span email & in-product comms, content, events, direct mail, inbound and outbound sales activations, and more.
You’ll own end-to-end execution including:
- Defining the strategy.
- Generating campaign ideas.
- Defining audiences and behavioral triggers.
- Writing copy.
- Project managing creative and infra development.
- Reporting on the results.
Analyze the performance of your campaigns using quantitative and qualitative data to determine when to pivot, scale, or kill.
Project-manage cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, and engineering & data science to execute on your initiatives.
Run tests to rapidly validate ideas, then build winning experiments into scaled programs.
Flex into other growth projects across IT as the business requires.
You’ll stand up baseline demand generation programs for the Spend & IT buyers and take on experimental initiatives + new projects as the businesses grow and our marketing strategy matures.
For example, you might work on ABM campaigns to support the outbound team.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with a track record of building demand generation programs that drove pipeline at B2B SaaS companies.
- Deep marketing channel expertise spanning paid ads, direct mail, webinars, field events, etc. and how to use these to drive leads and pipeline.
- Superb cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
- You’ll drive initiatives that span product marketing, sales, data science, product, brand, and marketing ops.
- Experience analyzing data to drive business strategy.
- You’ll need to translate both quantitative data (SQL, Excel) and qualitative observations into actionable insights.
- A hacker’s mentality with structured problem-solving skills.
- You can break down an ambiguous problem into solvable components, and also find creative solutions to work around constraints.
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
- You have an eye for good email & ad copy, and know how to get in the heads of our customers.
- Resourcefulness and bias towards action.
- Without prompting, you’ll dive deep into the data to find new opportunities.
- You move quickly to launch MVPs, and can make decisions on next steps without perfect data.
