About your new role!
This is a role that is perfect for someone looking for a challenge that puts both their ad buying skills and strategic media planning skills to the test. You'll also have the support of a highly skilled performance team that you'll be leading.
You'll also have the opportunity of working on some of the largest digital paid media accounts in Malaysia. Some of the expectations and responsibilities are listed below.
- Establish and maintain successful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and business leads on key clients in Malaysia
- Support team leads in the gathering, monitor and analysis of performance data and ongoing campaign
- Mentor performance media staff ensuring career development and learning across platforms including (but not limited to) Google and Facebook (critical), Twitter, LinkedIn, Outbrain, DV360 (optional and advantagous)
- Prepare and present regular, relevant, business cases and media plans on new product launches and campaigns for clients
- Develop best practice on search / performance marketing and promote sharing across teams and to the group
- Manage, guide and nurture team and their delivery
Process/Strategy
- Be one of our biddable media platform planning & activation expert (eg Google Ads, DV360, Facebook/IG, TikTok)
- Improve the current workflow & optimization processes across accounts
- Work as both a leader and hands-on expert across accounts to assist junior team members with delivering results for clients
- Champion new search tools, settings & technologies across accounts and help activate any existing ones that are not in place
What we’d love to see from you:
- Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in a performance media role for performance Manager or 7 years for Associate Director
- Strong technical understanding of Google Ads and Social (must have), Programmatic (optional), planning (must have) and implementation (must have)
- Strong communicator - possesses excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Be a proactive self-starter and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Mentoring experience
- Have strong organizational skills being able to manage multiple clients / projects at once
- Be confident in analysing and acting on marketing data
