Job Description
The Ad Operations Specialist at Value Research will be responsible for managing all aspects of advertising operations, including ad campaign scheduling, reporting, and optimization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of advertising campaigns and maximizing their effectiveness. The Ad Operations Specialist will collaborate with various teams, including marketing, sales, and creative, to deliver successful advertising campaigns. The ad operations specialist is expected to have a sense of responsibility and understanding of being an enabler towards business clients. A kind of role which will bring repeat business if the clients are serviced successfully.
Responsibilities
Ad Campaign Management
- Set up, launch, and monitor digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (websites, mobile apps, social media, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and timely implementation of ad campaigns, including ad creative, targeting parameters, and tracking codes.
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven optimizations to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Ad Inventory Management
- Manage and optimize ad inventory, including forecasting, ad placement, and targeting.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure optimal ad inventory utilization and revenue generation.
Reporting and Analytics
- Generate regular reports on ad campaign performance, including impressions, clicks, conversions, and other relevant metrics.
- Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders based on campaign performance analysis.
Ad Quality Assurance
- Ensure ad creative and landing pages comply with industry standards and policies.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to verify ad functionality, tracking, and proper delivery.
Ad Operations Support
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ad operations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ad operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital advertising operations, preferably in a similar role.
- Familiarity with ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick, etc.).
- Proficiency in campaign management and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and derive insights from campaign data.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of digital advertising industry trends, ad formats, and targeting strategies is a plus.
