Social Media Director (Contract-to-Hire)
We’re seeking an experienced Social Media Director to lead social media strategy and execution for a health and wellness client at our marketing agency. This role requires prior experience in science-based wellness and a genuine personal interest in the field.
The ideal candidate actively engages with leading health media platforms such as Andrew Huberman, Mark Hyman, Gabrielle Lyon, Gutbliss, and others.
This position begins as a contract role with the potential for full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Develop monthly social media plans for Meta platforms, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports to optimize strategies.
- Collaborate directly with the client to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
- Select, create, and edit images for social posts.
- Write, edit, and plan engaging and brand-aligned copy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing social media for wellness or health-focused brands.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Canva, and social media planning platforms.
- Strong knowledge of audience engagement strategies on Meta, X, and LinkedIn.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
