OverviewSummary:
The Vice President, reporting to the Senior Vice President, is a senior leader responsible for overseeing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver exceptional results. They work closely with senior leadership to shape the department’s future and play a crucial role in talent development, mentoring senior leaders and cultivating a high-performance culture that aligns with the agency’s vision and goals.
Fiscal Accountability: Oversees financial management across the paid social client portfolio, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within existing accounts while contributing to new client acquisitions and revenue growth.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborates with senior leaders from various disciplines to drive integration of services, ensuring cohesive strategies that align paid social efforts with broader marketing objectives and facilitating communication across teams.
Strategy & Innovation: Guides the strategic direction for multiple paid social client portfolios, ensuring alignment with overall business goals while driving sustained growth, performance optimization, and innovation in campaign execution.
Client Communication: Acts as a senior advisor to paid social clients, providing strategic insights, addressing challenges, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction, retention, and growth by fostering trust-based relationships.
Team Leadership: Leads and inspires paid social teams, coaching Directors and senior leaders, ensuring that leadership development and succession planning are aligned with the agency's growth goals.
Organizational Leadership: Contributes to department-wide initiatives focused on process improvements, talent development, resource allocation, and growth within the performance media practice, ensuring that paid social operations align with organizational goals.
Business Growth: Identifies and capitalizes on growth opportunities within existing paid social accounts, driving client success and contributing to business development efforts for new client acquisitions.
Thought Leadership: Develops and documents data-driven points of view based on deep understanding of paid social landscape, clients' business objectives, and opportunities in the marketplace.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates deep expertise in performance media and advanced marketing strategies, positioning the agency as an industry leader through thought leadership, innovative solutions, and active participation in industry forums and events
- Leads the agency in adopting and integrating emerging technologies, platforms, and methodologies, ensuring that both client strategies and the performance media practice remain at the forefront of industry advancements
- Articulates the agency’s value proposition and the strategic benefits of performance media channels, products, and services, enhancing client trust and loyalty
- Cultivates and strengthens long-term, strategic relationships with client stakeholders and vendors, ensuring that the agency is seen as a trusted and valued partner
- Continuously seeks ways to enhance the client experience, from onboarding to ongoing service delivery, ensuring that the performance media team consistently exceeds client expectations
- Ensures client satisfaction by leading the resolution of complex issues, managing escalations effectively, and consistently delivering results that exceed client expectations
- Shapes the strategic vision for client portfolios, aligning initiatives with broader business objectives and positioning the agency to lead clients in navigating future market shifts
- Identifies and capitalizes on high-value growth opportunities, leveraging advanced tactics and cutting-edge technologies to drive significant business impact across multiple client accounts
- Forges strategic partnerships with vendors that enhance client offerings and open new avenues for business growth
- Holds overall accountability for the performance and financial success of client portfolios, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, exceed performance goals, and meet financial targets
- Champions a results-oriented culture across teams, setting ambitious goals
- Leads the implementation and refinement of standardized processes and best practices across the department, driving operational efficiency and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery, driving accountability, and continuously elevating standards to achieve exceptional results
- Coaches and delegates responsibilities effectively to empower Directors and indirect reports, fostering their autonomy while providing the support needed for teams to succeed
- Recognizes and celebrates team successes, reinforcing a positive culture that values collaboration, innovation, and shared accomplishments
- Promotes and facilitates cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that teams work together seamlessly to deliver integrated, high-impact client solutions
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred but not required
- 10+ years of account management experience in performance media; client side or agency side preferred
- 7+ years of demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering innovation and collaboration
- Extensive experience managing large-scale performance media campaigns
- Expert understanding of channel landscape, buying platforms and new/evolving product offerings
- Demonstrated problem solving, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive performance media strategies aligned with client goals
- High proficiency in creating and delivering impactful presentations to senior stakeholders, ensuring complex information is communicated effectively
- High attention to detail and the ability to move at an agile pace, capable of managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously

Compensation Range: $143,000 - $180,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
