JOB PURPOSE
As a Senior Account Director you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients at all levels, manage and grow global teams and oversee account management for our key clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Team Leadership & Management:
- Build and nurture high-performing global inhouse teams for our clients, inspiring them to strive for excellence and deliver top-quality work while embodying DEPT’s values.
- Regularly meeting with client team leads building strong relations and ensuring resource requirements are consistently met.
- Create tailored growth plans and conducting performance reviews, collaborating closely with eBay stakeholders to provide constructive feedback and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Manage team capacity effectively, ensuring the right resources are allocated to meet client demands while balancing workloads and preventing burnout.
- Create a collaborative team environment by encouraging in person interactions, boosting motivation and recognising individual contributions.
Recruitment & Resource Management:
- Manage global recruitment requests from clients, determining costs, budgets, and timelines for new roles.
- Liaise with clients to manage their expectations whilst ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Lead the recruitment process for roles across various clients, teams and levels, including drafting job descriptions, interviewing candidates, and selecting the right talent to meet client needs.
- Regularly review team performance and growth opportunities, liaise with clients to manage expectations and ensure their requirements continue to be met.
Account Health & Efficiency Tracking:
- Monitor team efficiency through timesheets and pull reports to share with clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Identify new ways of working and drive efficiencies in processes to boost productivity and client satisfaction.
- Oversee account management activities to ensure profitability, including cost management and pipeline tracking.
- Draft statements of work and manage contract renewals, ensuring a proactive oversight of the account management activities and handling all financial aspects to maximise profitability.
- Regularly report to DEPT senior leadership on key account issues, both positive and negative, that could impact revenue.
