Job Description
As a Conference and Event Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of conference activations and events, both in-person and virtual. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project management, from concept to completion. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders, creating events that reflect the core values and objectives of our company.

Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end planning of conference activations and events, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management, to ensure flawless execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with partners and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of event objectives.
- Vendor Negotiation & Coordination: Liaise with vendors for venues, catering, A/V, and more, ensuring high-quality service within budget parameters.
- On-site Event Management: Oversee the execution of events on-site, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
- Internal Events & Employee Engagement: Organize and manage internal company events such as team-building activities, holiday parties, and employee appreciation events. Coordinate the distribution of gifts, rewards, and recognition programs to foster a positive work culture.
- Post-event Reporting: Conduct post-event analysis, including gathering feedback and providing detailed reports on event success and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting & Financial Management: Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining the quality of the experience.
- Innovation & Creativity: Propose new ideas to enhance the attendee experience and drive engagement through interactive, innovative elements.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in conference and event management.
- Proven experience in managing both large-scale conferences and intimate corporate events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations effectively.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations and meetings.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience in virtual and hybrid event management is a plus.
- Experience working on a cross-functional marketing team is preferred.
- A degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is a bonus.
Requirements
- Travel: Frequent travel is required for site inspections and on-site event management.
- Passport: A valid passport is required for international events.
- Work Environment: Hybrid work environment with 2 days a week in the office.
