OverviewThe Role
As Planning Director, you will be an integral part of the Publicis Media Luxe team, focused 100% on the prestigious LVMH account. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking and media planning expertise to ensure LVMH’s brands continue to thrive within the luxury sector. You will lead a team of media planners, developing innovative, best-in-class strategies for some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands. Reporting to the Business Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering campaigns that elevate LVMH's brand presence and drive business growth.
The Client
You will be working with LVMH, a global leader in luxury with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co., and Sephora. Known for their excellence, creativity, and innovation, LVMH represents the pinnacle of luxury across fashion, leather goods, perfumes, and cosmetics. The partnership between Spark Foundry and LVMH is a bespoke relationship, designed to deliver tailored media strategies across 40 brands in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with some of the most exclusive and high-profile maisons within the LVMH portfolio.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement cross-media media planning strategies for LVMH’s maisons, ensuring each campaign aligns with the luxury positioning and objectives of the brand.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team comprising an Account Manager and Account Executive, guiding them to deliver outstanding work while fostering growth and development.
- Client Management: Serve as the day-to-day contact for senior clients, maintaining exceptional service and ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of execution.
- Campaign Execution: Lead the development of planning and strategic guidelines for campaigns, coordinating with the investment team to build strong publisher relationships.
- Cross-Agency Collaboration: Work with internal teams across creative, strategy, and investment to ensure seamless execution of media strategies that are both innovative and effective.
- New Solutions: Continuously identify and implement new solutions, driving innovation in media planning to better serve LVMH’s evolving needs.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide regular reports and insights on campaign performance, ensuring transparency and showcasing the impact of media strategies.
Qualifications- Experience: Strong experience in media planning, ideally with experience in luxury or premium brands.
- Luxury Market Insight: Strong understanding of luxury consumers and how they engage with brands across different media channels.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Client-Focused: Exceptional client management skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships at a senior level.
- Cross-Media Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of cross-media planning, including digital, print, and experiential activations, especially within the luxury sector.
- Communication: Highly articulate and confident in presenting strategies and recommendations to clients.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all work meets the high standards expected from LVMH.
- Collaboration: Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
