Job Summary:
This position is an important vendor facing role so being an excellent representative of Horizon Media is essential to this position. Clear communications and structured follow-up are core to succeed in this role.
Main Responsibilities:
AP Inquiry response & resolutions (50%)
Payment Processing (25%)
Maintain Vendor Statement Consolidation tracking (15%)
Special Project (10%)
Job Description Details:
AP Inquiry response & resolutions (50%)
- Building and maintaining vendor relationships is paramount to this position.
- Reviewing and managing vendor statements to ensure prompt and accurate vendor payments
- Holding regularly scheduled meetings with priority vendors reviewing open statement items
- Ensuring invoices are entered timely into BIMS and IPS
Payment Processing (25%)
- Review and maintain terms of sales for all vendor accounts.
- Prepare payment proposals based on Vendor/Media due dates
Maintain Vendor Statement Consolidation Tracking (15%)
- Manage the collection and consolidation of vendor statements in the consolidated tracker system
- Interface with Reconciliation Teams to ensure problematic invoices are addressed and reconciled timely
Special Projects (10%)
- Assist in the completion of special projects as directed by the SR Director of Accounts Payable

Desired Background and Experiences:
- College Degree
- Deep understanding of accounting principals
- Excellent basic math skills
- 3+ years of experience working in a professional capacity with an expertise in finance knowledge of finance team and shared services functions that may include AP, AR, Client Billing, Media Vendor Payment
- Lead communicator with external internal clients, and vendors
- MS Excel expert. Including pivot tables and multi-tab worksheets
- Media experience
- Experience with a wide range of finance tools – to know what is possible and recommend improvements to current and future systems and how-to best use implement
Salary Range: $25.00 to $31.25 an hour. A successful applicant’s actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
