Position Description
The Media Planner/Buyer role will be working closely with clients and internal Sparro teams to plan, activate and manage the optimal media mix to achieve client marketing objectives.
Objectives
- Meet and exceed the objectives of clients through the successful planning of offline media (OOH, TV, Radio, print).
- Strive to continuously improve established technical knowledge and work collaboratively with peers, clients and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients at tactical / implementation level, complementing existing business and marketing strategies.
- Understand client objectives, and communicate / promote agency value and results.
- Manage and implement client projects, liaising with team members to contribute learnings and ideas to client strategies.
- Liaise, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships with media partners to achieve client campaign objectives.
- Meet and exceed the objectives of clients through the successful development and implementation of media channels.
- Prepare and present client reporting; identifying and communicating new opportunities, value delivered, and strategic direction.
- Having the willingness to effectively share knowledge and train others wherever possible.
- Promote the Sparro values and culture
Skills
- 2-3 years' experience in media planning and/or buying.
- Excel at working as part of a team, with demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective project management, and ability to understand direction and mobilise to achieve great outcomes.
- Technical and strategic skills in planning and data analysis.
