Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Head of Paid Media, Programmatic, and Social to join the Digital Marketing Team. This role will collaborate with internal media teams and external media agencies to develop and execute strategic media plans and partnerships. This position oversees programmatic, mid-funnel, and social media team members while guiding the evolution of the go-to-market media strategy.
Role Responsibilities
The role involves partnering with teams across Loyalty, Engagement, Analytics & Personalization, Creative, Digital Media, National & Local Marketing, and Go-To-Market to integrate messaging, audiences, and measurement across channels. Additionally, this role provides subject matter expertise in programmatic media, digital, social, TV/CTV, and audio while driving innovation. The ideal candidate will identify new ways to approach planning, research, predictive ROI, execution, and evaluation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Partner with internal paid media and external media agencies to create media strategies that drive business impact.
- Measure and report on performance across media channels while evaluating measurement tools and recommending best practices or enhancements.
- Support the Director in managing multiple agency and business contacts during integrated paid media planning and execution.
- Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders, serving as a primary contact internally and externally.
- Present strategies, analyses, and key insights to senior leadership and various stakeholders.
- Leverage strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to build credibility and achieve desired business outcomes.
- Translate complex media planning and performance concepts into presentations tailored for leadership.
- Problem-solve effectively with a solutions-oriented mindset, using data-driven approaches.
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence, creating action plans based on available information.
- Take on additional responsibilities to support the ongoing evolution and transformation of the media and brand partnership strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of paid media experience at a media agency or in-house media team.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Professional Certifications: None required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- In-depth understanding of the paid media landscape, including programmatic display and video, social media, TV/CTV, audio, content marketing, affiliate marketing, measurement, and emerging platforms.
- A combination of agency and client-side experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Collaborative, creative, and adaptive working style.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with keen attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of marketing, advertising, promotional, and digital content principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
