Job Category
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic professional with experience in sales and marketing, preferably for marketing services or enterprise MarTech products. As Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in partnering with Sales and Marketing Leadership to help reach target sales goals and accelerate growth of the organization. By developing and executing marketing programs and sales enablement materials/proposals, you will be instrumental in driving client acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of performance focused digital marketing, CRM, marketing analytics, and performance marketing applications. You will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams to both drive and guide individual initiatives to completion. This role is ideal for a motivated, mid-level professional who is a proactive strategic thinker, who understands the fundamentals of digital marketing, the buying journey and sales process, and wants to impact the evolution of a growing performance marketing agency.
Responsibilities
Sales:
- Support Sr. Director of Sales in direct sales outreach and indirect sales channels to maximize sales (partnerships, industry collaborations, etc.)
- Partner with sales and subject matter experts in creation and customization of new business pitch decks and proposals
- Liaise with prospects during sales process to deliver a high touch sales experience
- Track sales pipeline and report on progress
- Provide feedback to marketing for continuous improvement in the marketplace
- Travel as needed to support sales events, trade shows, conferences < 10%
Marketing:
- Research and identify market trends and competitor strategies to inform sales and marketing tactics.
- Support development and execution of marketing initiatives to generate demand and nurture leads including email, paid media, content marketing, social media, PR, conferences and other thought leadership initiatives.
- Oversee agency website and digital asset development for ongoing evolution of brand, messaging, and content.
- Monitor, analyze and report on marketing KPIs providing actional insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including creative, content, SEO, email, Paid Media, tech and Account Management teams on the planning and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Identify and collect client stories for case study development.
- Understand current marketing and media trends and provide recommendations on evolving the agency marketing mix.
- Set ongoing prioritization of initiatives in response to changing agency and client dynamics.
- Maintain strong collaboration and knowledge sharing within growth function to identify need for new or evolved sales collateral.
- Liaise with external partners and vendors as needed to enhance marketing capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in a similar growth focused role working within software, agency services and/or performance focused media.
- Proficient in digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, email, social, and content.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, MailChimp, etc).
- Data driven mindset.
- Understanding of the customer buying cycle for marketing related services and technology from acquisition through advocacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging and clearly convey ideas.
- Performance and goal oriented with the ability to multitask and independently prioritize responsibilities.
- Experienced Excel & PowerPoint user.
- Bonus for experience in Higher Education, Home Services or Financial Services.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 USD to $100,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
