Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tracking and Marketing Data Analyst to design, build, and deliver advanced tracking solutions for our marketing functions. This role involves collaboration with regional and local teams across eight countries, ensuring effective tracking and data-driven decision-making for our marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement tracking solutions tailored to specific marketing functions, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms and regions
- Work closely with business stakeholders and web/app development teams to deliver accurate and efficient tracking solutions
- Provide actionable insights through comprehensive reporting and data extraction to support and refine marketing strategies
- Configure, QA, and debug tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager and other tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with data engineers to manage and analyse big data using the Hadoop ecosystem at Shopee
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in web/app tracking implementation and analytics tools, with a solid understanding of deep linking
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics/Firebase for web and app implementation, and experience with Google Tag Manager, including creating events and triggers using JavaScript
- Basic understanding of server-side tracking methodologies
- Meticulous and possesses strong business acumen to interpret data effectively
- Passionate about data and adept at solving complex problems
