DAT Software and Analytics is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our incredible marketing team in Bengaluru and US-based marketing teams.
We’re seeking a specialist primarily focused on our paid social and app ad campaigns. Candidates will have a passion for digital marketing combined with previous proven experience to help us manage our daily PPC campaigns across social media platforms and app ads.
Primary responsibilities include working with your US-based and India-based teams to manage the campaigns, budget schedules, bidding model recommendations, tracking conversions, and supporting marketing campaigns across the company.
The Paid Media Specialist will report to the Senior Paid Media Manager, with daily direction from the Paid Media Manager located in India. This is a highly focused role, working closely with the Paid Media team, marketing leaders, and campaign stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Candidate profile
- Digital marketer with a proven track record of successfully managing sizable US-based PPC budgets across mobile app ads (Google and Apple) and paid social media ads (LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, and others).
- Excellent analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with global, preferably US-based teams.
- Proven ability in handling and prioritizing concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and grow DAT’s competitive advantage as the USA's market leader in load board and trucking data analytics through ongoing PPC competitive analysis, testing, and optimization.
- This role will also prepare and present campaign performance reports to internal stakeholders.
- To accomplish these goals, you must have proven expertise and a dedication to the continued education of the comprehensive landscape of social platforms and ad types.
- Closely collaborate with the Paid Media Manager, paid media agencies, and the Paid Media team to ensure that PPC strategies, campaigns, budgets, and KPIs are managed effectively across all platforms.
- Mobile App Ads and Paid Social Platforms: Specialize in managing app campaigns through Google and Apple platforms, and various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, and others.
- Optimize ads for app installations, engagement, and purchase conversions.
- Adjust strategies based on platform-specific analytics.
- Landing Page Management/Optimization: Oversee the design and functionality of landing pages.
- Conduct A/B testing and optimize for conversion rates.
- Conversion Tracking and Optimization: Implement and manage conversion tracking tools, and ensure that tracking and analytics are set up in the platforms you manage.
- Analyze conversion data to make informed optimizations.
- Collaboration and coordination with your teammate counterpart “Paid Media Specialist - Google & Microsoft.”
- Ensure all campaign budgets and KPIs are managed effectively, from campaign strategy and setup all the way through to landing page performance, conversion rate optimization, and reporting.
- Update Google presentations and other reporting needs to provide competitive and campaign insights to marketing management and segment stakeholders.
- Ability to share and provide cross-platform insights and learnings to leverage cross-platform synergies with the Paid Media team, and partner with Organic Social Team members to align social media.
- Team Meetings and daily communications with the Paid Media Manager, marketing leadership, and other team members to ensure consistent messaging and strategy alignment.
The Skills You’ll Need
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, information technology, or digital marketing.
- 3+ years of experience in a full-time PPC marketing role, either agency or client-side, owning paid social media and/or app advertising.
- Certification in Google Ads and/or Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn) ads is preferred.
- Solid experience in social platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, X, etc.) is required.
- Expert understanding of targeting options, optimization levers, creative specs, & testing approaches across social and app ad platforms.
- Strong understanding of technical challenges and nuances for mobile in-app across various ad types within social platforms.
- Data and web metrics analytical skills.
- Collaborative mindset and a team player.
- Passionate about marketing and search marketing.
- Driven to achieve results and make an impact.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with Datorama, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
