ResponsibilitiesThis is your chance to lead a team of AV experts and make your mark on a high-profile new client win. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and have a knack for helping brands navigate the ever-evolving AV landscape, we want you!
You’ll need to stay ahead of the curve, keeping up with the latest trends in AV and using that knowledge to shape future-facing media strategies. Working closely with Digital, Publishing & Audio, and Comms Planning teams, you’ll deliver integrated, innovative, and commercially sharp plans that help our clients shine.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading Your Team: Manage a brilliant team of AV professionals—from Account Managers to junior members—setting the standard for excellence.
- Building Strong Relationships: Deliver exceptional client and media owner service, becoming an expert in your client’s business and needs.
- Driving Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Planning and Investment teams to create thoughtful, timely, and impactful media responses.
- Being Proactive: Keep campaigns running smoothly with a results-driven approach, identifying opportunities and solving challenges with flair.
- Championing Innovation: Lead the way in understanding audience behaviours across TV, VOD, and Cinema, ensuring your team is equipped with the best tools and tech.
QualificationsWhat We Are Looking For in An AV Director
We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about AV as we are and has the skills to match. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Strategic Planning Expertise: Proven ability to craft and present detailed, insight-led strategies across AV channels like TV, Video on Demand, Connected TV, and Cinema.
- Deep Market Knowledge: A sharp understanding of the AV marketplace, including the latest trends and innovations.
- Media Auditing: Expert-level knowledge of media auditing processes to ensure campaigns hit the mark.
- Negotiation Skills: Advanced negotiation abilities that deliver the best results for our clients.
- Presentation Confidence: Comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes, whether it’s pitching to clients or rallying the team.
- People Skills: The ability to build strong working relationships across all levels—from CEOs and clients to entry-level grads and media owners.
