Summary:
Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Paid Search Specialist looking to propel their career by joining an energetic and dedicated team of marketing professionals. The role sits within our Chemical Analysis Digital Marketing Operations COE, driving strategies and execution for the brand, reporting to our Digital Marketing Supervisor. This is an exciting and challenging role with the opportunity to create an impact on the growth of a global brand globally. You will be responsible for driving programmatic and online media planning, execution, analysis and insights etc. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, enthusiastic and is flexible in adopting changes and new challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of strategies across Google Ads to support various product lines and business units.
- Conduct keyword research and ad copy optimization for improved campaign performance.
- Assist with the setup, management, and optimization of campaigns, ad groups, and keywords.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide regular reports to the team, highlighting key insights and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and analytics, to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standard processes, and algorithm updates to continuously improve paid search strategies and tactics.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
- Some experience or internship in digital marketing, with exposure to Google Ads preferred.
- Knowledge of Google Ads platform, including campaign setup, optimization techniques, and performance analysis.
- Google Ads certification is desirable.
- Analytical mentality to interpret data and derive actionable insights to improve campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Eagerness to take initiative, learn from colleagues, and deliver results for the success of paid search initiatives.
- Experience with other digital marketing channels, such as display advertising, social media advertising, or SEO, is a plus.
