Amazon Prime Video is seeking an experienced, strategic Senior Regional Media Manager to oversee Local and Sports content launches (movies, series, and sports properties) across the Canada /Australia/New Zealand (CANZ) region.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative, high-impact media plans to drive awareness, consideration, and acquisition for Amazon's Prime Video streaming service.
This central role will be accountable for managing and standardizing the way of working between the LATAM/Canada (LATAMC) and ANZ agencies, the regional agency hub, and internal local/regional stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven media strategies and plans for Prime Video's Local & Sports content launches in the CA/AU/NZ markets.
- Serve as the single media owner for campaigns within your scope, aligning and engaging with cross-functional teams (media agencies, marketing, performance/growth, business analytics) to set strategy, define attribution and measurement, and drive optimization.
- Manage media planned vs. actual investments, optimize media spending and performance, and ensure standardized reporting between the LATAMC and ANZ regions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of full-funnel media performance to uncover insights and opportunities that can enhance content growth and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with LATAMC and ANZ media agencies, as well as marketing stakeholders, to ensure seamless campaign implementation and integration.
- Continuously seek to improve processes, scale media guidelines, and share best practices and insights to drive efficiency and consistency between ANZ and LATAMC.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment, adapting your scope as needed to cover single-title, multi-title, and brand/sports campaigns in CA/AU/NZ as well as LATAM.
A day in the life
You start by reviewing campaign performance for your AUNZ and Canada markets, analyzing full-funnel metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
Next, you sync up with the LATCANZ media team, sharing insights and aligning on regional strategy.
You then meet with each agency leadership to discuss results, address partnership needs, and collaborate on improvements.
In the afternoon, you present data to the cross-functional AUNZ and Canada teams, ideating on tests to boost engagement and conversion.
As you wrap up, you ensure all assets and reports are centralized, then dive deeper into analyzing a key sports campaign to inform future plans.
Throughout, your project management and collaboration skills help you seamlessly coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in media planning, optimization, and analysis, ideally with a focus on global/regional campaigns.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-driven cross-platform media strategies and driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in multi-country campaign management.
- Familiarity with the Canada, Australia and/or New Zealand markets and/or media landscapes.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
