The Role
The Paid Media Lead is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across biddable and non biddable media channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. The Paid Media Lead will partner with market Commercial and Marketing Leads and the paid media agency to manage budgets, monitor performance, and achieve set targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and manage paid media campaigns across biddable (e.g. Search, paid Social & Display) and non biddable and offline channels across European markets
- Align online & offline direct buys with EU market Marketing leads and drive implementation
- Collaborate with creative, digital and content teams to develop engaging ad copy, visuals, and campaign landing pages that drive results
- Ensure necessary media tags are in place for measurement and optimization
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and bid management to maximize ROI
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior internal stakeholders
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with marketing objectives
- Work closely with the media agency to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs), such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Coordinate with the central and local marketing teams to ensure paid media strategies are aligned with overall European marketing goals and regional requirements
- Manage relationships with external agencies, publishers and vendors to execute paid media initiatives in line with brand positioning
- Ensure integrated media plans (biddable media & direct buys) are updated on a monthly basis
- Manage internal budget approval and procurement sign off process in line with internal guidelines
- Raise POs and track budget
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in leading paid media campaigns, preferably within the automotive or related industries
- Paid media agency experience is a plus
- Proven track record of driving successful digital advertising campaigns across various platforms
- Experience with digital advertising tools and platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other analytics tools
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
