Key job responsibilities
- Acquire new customer contacts, earn trust and engage with customers mainly through calls
- Qualify and create a sales funnel of opportunities and track in CRM (Salesforce)
- Educate customers on AWS products/services & evangelize key wins
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Reps (CSR), and Solution Architects (SA)
- Collaborate with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Evangelize customer success stories
- Ability to profile customers from various internal/external sources to attain key business contacts
- Ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions to qualify opportunities
- Ability to think logically and structure answers, and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Openness and ability to learn sales automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and processes

About The Team
This role is within the India CSC team. The CSC is the Inside Sales organization of AWS and is focused on new customer acquisitions across India at scale. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically, as you collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams.

Basic Qualifications
- Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal
- 2+ years’ experience in sales or demand generation within the technology sector
- Clear, concise and confident communicator in-person and via phone
- Ability to profile customers from various internal/external sources to attain key business contacts
- Ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions to qualify opportunities
- Ability to think logically and structure answers, and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment
- Experience operating successfully remotely or in an inside sales capability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services preferred within Indian market
- Understanding of AWS offerings and/or cloud technology (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
- Knowledge of sales automation tools (e.g. Marketo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SFDC)
- Skilled at presenting technical solutions to prospects and customers
- Experience navigating prospective accounts to reach senior executive levels to identify new customer opportunities
