Responsibilities
- Ensures the implementation of the terms provided for by the approved restoration studies of the company's means of production
- Assists the supervisory teams of the sector's projects in Environmental and Safety and Health matters and collaborates with the respective company departments on Environmental, Health and Safety matters of the department’s projects
- Supervises the relevant teams to ensure compliance with the implementation of Environmental Impact and Restoration studies as well as for Health and Safety matters and collects all relevant documentation from the relevant teams related to Environment, Health and Safety matters
- Prepares memos, minutes and reports for monitoring the progress of the projects
Requirements
- University Degree in Engineering from a Polytechnic School
- Master of Science degree will be considered an additional qualification
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in positions related to Environment, Safety and Health
- Experience in a construction site will be considered an additional qualification
- License to practice as an Engineer in the corresponding specialty of the degree
- Declaration certificate from the competent Regional Authority for exercising the full range of activities outlined in P.D. 115/2012 and 108/2013
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Availability in emergency situations (after telephone contact)
- Availability for urgent geographical relocations
