OVERVIEW:
Consider joining our leadership team as Performance Investment Lead - Group Director, Performance in US for one of our leading clients, NovoNordisk, at GroupM’s award winning agency, Wavemaker.
In this high impact role, you will lead in setting forth a unifying cross-channel performance vision for the NovoNordisk DTC business, while working in close partnership with our sister agency CMI to drive a holistic vison for DTC and HCP to grow the holistic NovoNordisk business.
You will lead the NovoNordisk DTC Programmatic business and be the voice of the DTC focused Search and Social. This role will be closely interfacing with the NovoNordisk client team and the integrated agency team, responsible for leading and driving key meetings and workstreams to inform, shape and implement performance strategy and solutions for the benefit of NovoNordisk. This includes addressability, future proofing identity solutions in partnership with our Data Analytics team and driving partnership deals with our investment team. You will also be a key contributor to sharing thought leadership tailored to the business, to ensure NovoNordisk’s is well positioned to industry changes and new offerings.
In this role, you will have direct oversight of the Programmatic team and will lead cross functional workstreams in collaboration with other teams such as Strategy, Planning, Data analytics and other key emerging areas. While not accountable or responsible directly, this role will also liaise with the Search and Social teams at CMI, our sister agency to ensure the strategies are aligned and drive growth through an established roadmap. Pharma experience is preferred but not mandatory.
This role will proactively adapt and integrate our performance capabilities to increase the quality of outputs, and ultimately help elevate our digital product in the industry on behalf of the client teams. This role will also be responsible for partnering with the GroupM operations and product leaders with the goal of accelerating tech-enablement of our processes, whether through automation that shifts our people’s time to higher value work, or optimization solutions that deliver superior outcomes.
As a senior leader on the Performance team, the role is a key people leader that defines and oversees team development, creation and adoption of processes that amplify performance execution, and identifying opportunities for team training and career growth programs for integrated, ‘T-shaped’ experts. You will have direct involvement in strengthening the culture of our central Wavemaker & broader GroupM organization. This role will embody the spirit of the craft by serving as ‘player-coach’ for both current teams and new business pursuits alike, capable of representing the best of platform services and products.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pharma experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a relevant field
- Experience leading large performance or acquisition teams
- Experience across multiple biddable platforms (Search, Social, Programmatic)
- Comfortable translating complex data into simple and relevant strategic insights
- Affinity with the idea of making advertising work better for people.
- Understanding and familiarity of media investment, ad tech and larger agency ecosystem

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $125,000 to $295,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
