The DMX team operates as a Finance hub in service of Publicis Media, responsible for processing Media billings across multiple currencies and geographies for the Programmatic, Programmatic Lift, and Google Marketing Platform lines of business.
Overview
Publicis Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Operations Lead to join our DMX team. Reporting into the DMX Financial Operations Director, who reports up to the Finance Director of Global Media, the role of Financial Operations Lead will include the following: Core Process Management: Oversee the execution of core financial processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing (direct and intercompany) and payments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. Oversee the setup and management of offshored finance operations. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Global Media FinOps Manager to develop and implement new and streamlined billing processes tailored to client needs. Define effective Shared service KPIs & process control measures Continuously assess and enhance existing financial processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with intercompany agency teams across the region, global and regional commercial teams, digital vendors, operations teams, and shared services. Act as a liaison between the DMX team and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial processes and objectives. Audit Support: Prepare and provide documentation and support for external audits, including statutory and client audits. Ensure traceability of financial operations and maintain comprehensive records to support audit requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations, and 1-2 years in financial operations, preferably within the media or advertising industry. Proven experience in process improvement and implementation of new financial systems or processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
