OverviewOur post-production department is looking for a multifaceted dynamic video editor who’s not scared of big batches of assets. We’re looking for someone with a passion for the craft that is editing and wants to help and inspire whilst still wanting to learn themselves too. If you have experience in digital media post-production and are passionate about video and technology and specifically the evolving field of dynamic video templating, then this job is for you!
ResponsibilitiesThe job
At Boomerang we work on all different kinds of projects. Starting from an offline/online approach we create social campaigns big and small, traditional and dynamic, but also DOOH in all shapes and sizes and the odd TVC. It’s for specifically the dynamic campaigns that we’re looking for a Dynamic Video Editor, someone who prioritises structure and gets a kick out of building innovative AE templates that can export hundreds of assets in no-time to flexibly render a most diverse and optimal output. Dynamic video is a big part of Boomerang and as pioneers in this field we have faced it all, whether it’s global localisations or timeless modular campaigns, both manual or via online platforms. No stress though, if you bring the dynamic thinking, we’ll teach you the rest. You will work very closely with our post producers, video/digital producers, creatives and directors and advise them about all the dynamic videos dos and don’ts. Next to that we stimulate you sharing your knowledge with post producers and other editors to stimulate the team’s growth; you will be part of a multi-talented team where we help each other to push it to a higher level.
QualificationsYou
- A strong interest in video and technology (you will need to learn a lot about our specific dynamic video workflow);
- 4+ years of experience as Video Editor;
- Knowledge of Essential Graphics;
- Basic knowledge of AE scripting/expressions;
- Strong organisation skills and knowledge of file formats;
- Bonus: knowledge of different markets globally, handling raw cam footage and basic compositing skills;
- Reading and writing in English with Dutch as a massive bonus.
(for this role it’s important to live in the Netherlands and work at our office in a ±2/3 ratio)
