Job Summary
The Assistant Marketing Director is responsible for supporting the AllerVie Health Marketing Department in achieving business goals by executing comprehensive marketing strategies and driving initiatives from conception through to final completion. This individual should thoroughly understand both traditional and digital marketing tactics and will play a central role in developing innovative growth strategies that improve patient retention, drive new patient volume, and increase brand awareness.
This role will need to work on a variety of projects at once while remaining flexible to shift priorities as business needs change. This position is best suited for someone who proactively initiates projects, escalates concerns as needed, collaborates well with cross-functional teams, consistently delivers accurate/quality work, and offers creative solutions so that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
The Assistant Marketing Director serves as a pillar of front-line clinic marketing support and should be self-motivated, ready to roll up their sleeves to tackle any task that needs doing, have a positive "can do" attitude, and work well within a small, agile team. This individual should thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities that support our growth and continuous evolution.
Specific Areas of Accountability
Growth Marketing & Digital Advertising
- Collaborate with the marketing team and digital vendors to successfully execute the company's comprehensive growth marketing strategy to drive new patient volume across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to make data-driven business decisions and optimize campaign results.
- Ensure we are using all tactics at our disposal and fully utilizing the available marketing resources while also looking for creative advertising solutions that continue to grow the business nationwide.
Public Relations, Content Marketing & SEO Management
- Drive content marketing strategy for the company by developing and executing a robust content marketing calendar that is inclusive of all core business pillars and applicable communication channels (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, website blog, internal communications, etc.) that drive brand awareness, fosters brand loyalty, drives follower engagement, builds follower base, and more.
- Utilize in-house SEO platform to drive SEO strategy, execute digital improvement tactics, and improve overall organic search ranking.
- Professionally engage with providers to create accurate educational and clinical content.
- Help oversee and manage the PR agency, coordinate deliverables, and contribute to creating a successful PR strategy that improves overall brand awareness and positively positions the company as an industry leader.
Website Management
- Assist with managing retained digital marketing vendor to drive continuous website improvement projects and site optimization of all websites in the company portfolio.
- Tactically make website edits to the website (Wordpress) to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and engaging for our patients and business partners.
KPIs, Metrics, & Reporting
- Work with Marketing team members to ensure key milestones are met for marketing projects, and regularly communicate status and progress to internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines and quality control processes are being met.
- Provide insights on marketing performance to ensure cross-functional alignment on the best possible data-driven marketing to support evolving business objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to develop a consolidated multi-channel monthly marketing metrics/KPI report.
- Ensure all marketing processes are streamlined, designed, documented, understood, and followed in a way that minimizes bad or incomplete data.
- Enhance Monday.com project management and build out robust reporting for the department.
Online Location & Reputation Management
- Oversee and manage listings and reputation vendor relationship.
- Implement and execute creative strategies to drive review volume, improve review ratings, and enhance the company's online brand reputation nationwide.
- Oversee online location listings; ensuring listings have accurate hours of operation, address and contact information, and updated content.
- Oversee moderation, review, triage, and response across all digital communication channels, including social media messages/comments, online reviews, web form submissions, and more to improve/enhance the patient experience through their feedback.
Experience Required
- 8-10+ years of general marketing, digital marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing experience within in a fast-paced environment (private equity background preferred), in B2C marketing role in multi-site healthcare, or in an agency setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail and demonstrated experience multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Execution-oriented with the ability to synthesize multifaceted business needs and develop thoughtful marketing solutions to address those needs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in popular marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Data Studio, WordPress, Social Media Platforms & Management Software, Location/Reputation Management Platforms (Birdeye), Digital Ad Tracking Software, Project Management Tools (Monday.com), Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience with advertising and traditional media buying a plus.
- Experience or interest in learning about business development marketing to physicians and physician groups.
Education
Bachelor's degree required in related field of marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, digital marketing, social media, etc.
