Role Description
The ideal candidate is a natural media industry connoisseur with extensive experience in retail, lifestyle, and business media storytelling. They must be confident in strategy development, able to execute media opportunities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of multi-channel media strategies for client's key moments
- Understand key competitors, retail landscape, and client business challenges
- Pitch and deliver media coverage results
- Lead on-site media engagements and manage media interviews
- Bring and build strong media contact networks
- Maintain deep knowledge of daily media landscape
Qualifications
- 6-8 years media relations experience at agency or in-house
- Retail sector experience preferred
- Strong corporate and lifestyle communications background
- Proven track record of national business and consumer media relationships
- Ability to conceptualize media-worthy stories
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Media training experience
- Strategic and creative counsel skills
- Collaborative and solution-oriented mentality
Compensation
Salary Range: $79,000 - $116,000 per year, with potential additional compensation based on various factors.
