Responsibilities
- Lead multi-channel media strategy development and execution across business, consumer, and community relations
- Understand key competitors and the retail landscape
- Pitch and deliver media coverage results
- Host and manage on-site media engagements
- Leverage strong media contacts and build new relationships
- Stay current with daily media landscape trends
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of media relations experience at agency or in-house
- Experience supporting Fortune 500 companies
- Retail sector experience preferred
- Extensive experience in corporate and lifestyle communications
- Strong national business and consumer media relationships
- In-depth knowledge of reputation management
- Ability to conceptualize media-worthy stories
- Robust portfolio of secured media coverage
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Leadership and mentoring experience
Compensation
Pay range: $79,000 - $116,000 per year, with compensation based on various factors including experience, skills, and organizational needs.
