Summary
Develops, executes, presents, and monitors internal media plans for assigned campaigns. Analyzes the audiences, content, and metrics of a wide range of media outlets. Serves as media liaison for the internal strategy team and the external agency partner.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate media data and develop strategic media plans aligned with business objectives.
- Utilize media research, audience insights and data analytics to craft the most effective media mix for both traditional and digital campaigns.
- Analyze demographic data and consumer profiles to target audiences with precision across various media markets.
- Plan, negotiate and purchase media space and time, securing the best rates for advertising spend.
- Manage all media buys, including estimates, availabilities and insertion orders, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using advanced analytic tools, identifying key areas for improvement and optimizing campaigns accordingly.
- Prepare campaign schedules and manage detailed marketing budgets to ensure alignment with overall strategies.
- Provide actionable performance reports to key stakeholders and contribute to data-driven decisions to optimize ROI.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring seamless campaign execution.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure campaign messaging aligns with media strategies and business objectives.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
- Required Licensure/Certification: None required.
- Minimum Experience: 4 years of media planning or buying experience.
