OverviewThe Vice President of Business Development identifies and leads new business pursuits for Level Studios that achieve the agency’s strategic and financial growth objectives.
The responsibilities of the role include driving lead generation, vetting new business opportunities, crafting new business proposals, assembling pitch teams, developing pitch win strategies, and shepherding pitches from kickoff to closing.
This individual will also work closely with the EVP, Managing Director of Level Studios along with other portfolio and agency partners to build and maintain a library of sales, marketing and new business assets that sell agency capabilities and tell our brand story to prospects and external audiences.
Responsibilities- Identifies and leads the pursuit of new business opportunities for Level Studios.
- Leverages a consultative approach to uncover client specific issues and/or opportunities.
- Serves as the first point of contact for prospects and partners; builds successful relationships with all stakeholders.
- Partners with leadership to help determine winning strategy, team casting, and approach for each prospect/pitch assigned.
- Completes RFPs and RFIs.
- Collaborates with Level Studios and PSG executive team and subject matter experts to jointly present proposals for individual and multi-agency pitches across Publicis Groupe.
- Leads the work with each pitch team to develop and refine the pitch deck content, coordinate leave-behind materials and any unique presentation/meeting needs.
- Cultivates business relationships through networking, industry events and outbound marketing.
- Develops and maintains a prime prospect/contact list and manages/keeps regular contact with companies on the prospect list.
- Works with Creative department to develop and catalogue new business content, such as helping to write and gather assets for case studies, agency reels and videos, RFI/RFP responses, etc.
- Organizes, directs, and makes physical arrangements for presentations.
- Prepares and circulates periodic new business status and meeting reports; tracks new business wins/losses.
- Works closely with public relations/communications teams to ensure the Level Studios story and voice carry through all external-facing marketing and sales material.
Qualifications- Senior level experience in building business for a digital advertising agency, marketing transformation or digital business transformation consultancy.
- Ability to speak to all levels of prospective clients: strategic and tactical decision makers.
- Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with C-level digital marketing or marketing transformation executives.
- Ability to reach across the cross-functional aisles and the various capability groups across the organization to drive more wins.
- Proven experience in leading a cross-functional team in the pitch/BD process.
- Expert proficiency in writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand macro business issues and articulate value generating opportunities supporting all Publicis Groupe brands and capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Extensive experience and comfort with the Salesforce platform to track pipelines.

Compensation Range: $143,000 - $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
